“Barks on the Bricks – The UltiMUTT Art Walk” is set to transform Downtown Rogers into a vibrant celebration of pets and artistry. Scheduled for 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, This event promises an exciting array of activities and exhibits for both human and furry attendees alike.

Discover the works of talented pet portrait artists and photographers, and meet with pet boutique business owners, dog trainers, groomers, veterinary clinics, and even pop-up adoption services. With over a dozen galleries, shops, and restaurants participating, there will be plenty of opportunities to discover unique creations and support local businesses.

What sets this event apart is its focus on inclusivity, welcoming leashed dogs to join in the festivities alongside their human companions. Whether indoors or outdoors, there will be plenty of exhibits to explore, with some locations even offering dog-friendly spaces.

Live performances and a diverse range of exhibitors–including a pet portrait painting class, art by regional artists and pet-centric vendors–will ensure that there’s something for everyone at Barks on the Bricks. So mark your calendars and prepare for a paw-some experience in Downtown Rogers.

  • The Parlour Room & Underbrush Books (103 W Walnut St.): Featuring the art of Jesse Weegens
  • Rogers Experimental House (121 W Walnut St.): Pet portraits and commissioned art by a dozen talented artists

    • Hosting The Great Piano Bar Experiment.

    • Offering handcrafted cigars, whiskey bar, and contemporary art.
  • Rogers Supper Club gathers at 121 W Walnut Street at 4:30 p.m.

This event provides an excellent opportunity to engage with local artists, support the creative economy, and celebrate the rich tapestry of artistic expression in the community. It’s a wonderful occasion to appreciate the talents of both seasoned artists and budding creators, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for the arts.

Every 2nd Thursday:

  • #ShopNWA: Shop original work by artists and makers and support locally owned businesses that offer interactive experiences and live entertainment.
  • Visit the galleries, shops and restaurants that partner with area artists to highlight the creative talent of members of our community.
  • Meet artists and crafters of all mediums and support the local creative economy in Downtown Rogers.

It’s our mission-work:  A key mission of the Rogers Lowell Chamber is to support small business and entrepreneurial development along with economic development for our downtown sector.

What’s happening:  Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks Art Walk seeks to provide a welcoming and diverse ThirdSpace to members of our community. We also promote downtown Rogers as a destination location for arts, music, dance and other interactive experiences.

How it works:  In addition to extended hours in retail shops, art galleries and pop-up art exhibits are scheduled from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of every month.
