Kinya Christian started her art career in 1998 working for a yearbook publishing company in Kansas City, Missouri. Over the course of twenty-five years, her branding work and fine art has been seen all over the country, from Broadway Publishing and HGTV, to public installations and private collections.

She has curated art exhibitions and events for the Rogers Experimental House and Rogers Historical Museum including Reflections of the Black Experience which can be viewed online.

Christian owned an art gallery for two years which focused on under-represented and emerging artists of color, and women. INTO+VIEW served as a vehicle for establishing critical context connections, solidarity, and a sense of community for the artists by means of exhibitions, musical performances, shared art experiences featuring culinary arts, and resident artists’ workshops.

Christian was also honored as a Mid America Arts Alliance Artist360 grant recipient, and serves on the Arkansas Committee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She is also the Arts and Culture Coordinator for the City of Rogers.
