When you can be anything in the world, be kind.

    March 5, 2024 /

Olivia (Xinyu). I am is a 17 year old Junior in High School. She is the owner of Crafty Paws and designer of many products. She started her charity based business in 2020 during the pandemic as a means to help support a pet rescue back in China where her family was living at the time. Blooming by Laura Ramirez

    February 28, 2024 /

The paintings come from an ongoing study of the built environment and nature. Patterns that exist around us have always been my source of inspiration. Artist Laura Ramirez collects memories from her travels all over the world and translates the emotions and qualities of nature and human touch that she has experienced. As a trained architect her work is, for the most part, structured and geometrical. She considers my work to be based on “place,” not a physical space, but the place created by experiences, experimentation and studies of my surroundings whether that is the sand at the beach, the mountains, details on a building or the woods. Every piece…

    Crochet Transformation

    February 25, 2024 /

Longtime crochet artisan, Debra DeVilbiss uses crochet to spread her message of joy. Whether it’s the joy of creating, or the joy of watching the aha moment when someone who always believed crochet was hard discovers the smooth experience of working with thread, joy just naturally follows. With Debra, students have permission to succeed, and customers feel the joy of owning a finely crafted piece of crochet beaded jewelry. When we receive a handmade item, we also receive the imbued energy from the maker’s hands. Whether through the items Debra designs and creates or through teaching, she tries to draw a line straight from her heart into the world. The…

    Collages of Thoughts

    February 6, 2024 /

My recent body of work includes many collages influenced by nature and meaningful poems. Often poems are included to add mystery and reflection to the collage. Art should cause you to think, to question and to imagine. Art, in my opinion, must do more than just copy; I enjoy sharing my experiences with viewers and exploring interactions and their interpretations of the artwork. You may see and purchase my work at Artists of Northwest Arkansas ANA Gallery.
