    Let’s Get Lost in Sewing!

    January 6, 2024 /

We love to sew! At Lost Ozark Dawn we help others learn and share the experience, and art of sewing. We have sewing groups, classes and events for all ages, sewing levels, and sewing types (machines). Our goal is to help others develop their knowledge and skills, while creating friendships and helping those in NWAR. Lost Ozark Dawn believes that while sewing can be a tedious, expensive hobby; anyone with a desire to sew can obtain it easily and affordably. Let’s Get Lost in Sewing!

Near and Far: Photography and Mixed Media

    December 27, 2023 /

Lynn Koch has loved photography since she was a child. She retired one year ago and has time to devote to her passion for photography. She is especially interested in macro and abstract photography as well as photos of water bodies. More recently her art has expanded to creations made from driftwood, rocks, and repurposed natural and industrial materials. She exhibits work at The Art Gallery of Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville where several of the other artists suggested she also participate in the Art on the Bricks Art Walk. We look forward to her January debut in the Downtown Rogers creative community.

    Save the Children

    December 23, 2023 /

Acrylic and Mixed Media 16×24 Save the Children was inspired by the pandemic and a parent’s choice to vaccinate or not. This led to much confusion on both parents and children alike. The medical profession is ready to administer the vaccine while children scramble to hide.

    Abstract Art

    December 18, 2023 /

The phrase “less is more” rings true for me. When I create, I think in terms of purity of design. The elimination of unnecessary distractions leads me to rely on line and shape as primary communication tools. I am alway thinking about how to make use of design to express an idea. Design is what make a piece eye-catching and dynamic, or calm and soothing.
