    December 18, 2023 /

This is the theme that makes artist Karen Wagaman HAPPY! For whatever reason, SQUARE is her favorite format for making and buying art! She is a watercolor, digital and mixed media artist. She has worked in watercolor and graphic design since earning her degree in studio art and business. Her dual love for animals and painting evolved into a fun hobby creating custom pet portraits. And now living in Arkansas of course she is a fan of calling and designing hogs. In addition to creating her own art, she is a promoter of the creative economy in NW Arkansas. She serves as VP of Downtown Development for the Rogers Lowell…

    Assemblage Sculptures by James Sawyer

    November 8, 2023 /

James K. Sawyer has a BFA from the University of Nebraska. During his time in school he was given an assignment to build a three dimensional “Pandora’s Box.” That was the beginning of a life long passion for the assemblage art form. His assemblage sculptures are created from any type of objects or materials. Jim says: “The only limits are the ones I put on myself. I lean towards using materials of interesting shape, surface, texture and that appear to have a history or story of their own.
