As a self taught artist, I love the experimentation process and feel my style is constantly evolving. While I use mainly acrylics, you will always catch glimpses of a variety of other elements in my artwork. I enjoy the use of bright color, contrasting values, heavy texture and collage. I use my hands, brushes and a palette knife to build up multiple layers of paint, papers and acrylic medium, resulting in a heavy distressed texture.

Hello! Im Jasin, aka Elfy! I am a freelance artist, single mother, and massive nerd who appreciates magic, fantasy, and the lands we lost ourselves in as a child. I digitally paint portraits of fantasy characters, or characters who fit into fantasy-sequel universes, using my iPad and Procreate. My goal is to become a concept artist for some of my favorite game companies or possibly even make my own! I was commissioned to draw this portrait of this young lady as a Christmas gift in 2020. She was a joy to draw. The second is titled “LILYS” ,an oil painting on panel, 11 x 20.

My art begins with foraging rocks, clay, shale, and bone. From these earthy pigments I make my watercolor paints. Wildlife and other critters, and rural scenes make up the bulk of the subjects I paint. At the Art Walk I’ll have sets of paints, prints, and original works.

I torch weld bronze and copper alloys to create original, one of a kind pieces of wearable sculpture/ jewelry. Most pieces are signed by the artist when possible.
