betrayal – Acrylic painting of my fridge at night, depicting the way my body betrays me and my fear of the dark with its constant need for hydration.

just turn on the fan already – Acrylic painting of a door that doesn’t exist. I tried to establish a feeling of unease, depicting the door from a disjointed perspective with abstract coloring, to represent the feelings I get at night, when it’s so quiet your brain makes up sounds to fill the silence.

Licorice!! – Watercolor with multi media accents depicting my love for licorice! I’ve been practicing stylized art, and this is one of my favorite pieces to come from that. I believe the imperfect nature of the watercolor illustrations provides the perfect backdrop for the more simplistic designs scattered throughout.
