During the coronavirus quarantine, Artist Lynn Campo expressed herself by drawing a episodic comic strip using humor to get through the stress and trauma. It’s about a family who is having trouble navigating the new normal, and often turns to the youngest daughter Sweetpea’s Sphynx cat, Popes, because she gives “sound advice.” Because you all have to be there for each other! My quilts include some machine quilting but mostly hand quilting. Vintage handkerchiefs, vintage linens, embroidery, beads, hand appliqué, and a variety of other embellishments are used in my quilts.
