One of a kind rustic designs with a twist
I am a 100% disabled veteran who moved with my wife from New York to Arkansas five years ago. We moved to Arkansas to build a fortress of solitude and to build mornin wood studio. My endeavors into creative pursuits have helped me cope with my post-traumatic stress disorder. Our shared vision for mornin wood studios had always been to take something invasive and destructive and turn it into art. We produce One of a kind pieces that can’t be duplicated something you’ve never seen before will be on display at 121 W Walnut Street during the Art Walk.

Artist and architect, Jim Mangold, was born in Paris, France has lived around the world—which no doubt influenced his appreciation for the Arts. Mangold has made Arkansas his home since 1977. A US Navy Veteran (Submarine Service) and a semi-retired architect, he now owns an art gallery in downtown Rogers that allows he and other artists and their patrons to give back to the community. 30% of the sales of art from Studio 300 benefit Meals on Wheels of Benton County. Artist Janet Borders of Fayetteville isn’t a veteran, but she grew up in a military family. Her father was in the Air Force and she works for the Veterans Administration in Fayetteville. Leather Artist
As a Veteran and Master Leathercrafter with the (International Federation of Leather Guilds) IFOLG, Bob Keeney has entered his leather projects in many competitions. He creates decorative leather birdhouses and fairy houses for indoor display. Hehas also made many requested custom-designed purses, clutch purses, wallets, belts, wine boxes, and many assorted other small leather items. His work will be on display at the Rogers Experimental House during the Veteran’s Day Art Walk on November 11.
