Forest Walk series

Artist Evelyn Jorgenson works primarily in watercolor, mixed-media collage and acrylic. She is heavily influenced by nature and the many vibrant colors that appear as one studies sunlight in the natural environment. A sense of wonder, inquisitive thought, and joyful appreciation of the natural world are ever present in her artwork. Evelyn has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Columbia College, Columbia, MO. She considers herself a lifelong learner and continues to take classes and workshops from professional artists.

These collages are part of the Forest Walk series and are titled “Autumn Leaves Floating By,” “Pine Trees Yawning at the Sky,” “Sun Streaks on the Forest Floor,” and “Wildflowers Pushing Through.” The collages include paper, watercolor, acrylic and inks.
