Meet Canine Companions Puppy Iverson

Carolyn Dimas is a volunteer for Canine Companions. The national 501c3 organization, founded in 1975, enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs and follow-up services at no charge to the recipients.

o Dimas will introduce art walk patrons to 16-month-old Canine Companions puppy Iverson IV.
o Iverson IV came to her at 10 weeks of age and is her third puppy from this program.
o Canine Companions has a service dog breeding program of Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers.
o Puppy Iverson is considered “a cross” and his bloodline contains both breeds.
