I painted Constance in an online workshop. Some people are comfortable in front of the camera and Constance is one of those rare people at a young age. I truly enjoyed painting her because her innocence and beauty were hard to ignore.

Music is my life. Design music themed fabric/stationery is my passion, making bag is my way of expressing my crafting voice.

I call my art “Mindscapes”. I see what I want to see in my mind and I paint it. It’s a composition of places and experiences, which create illusion and emotion. My work could be abstract, impressionistic or traditional. I love the play of colors and how they complement each other. Many of my patrons have said “it reminds me of someplace that I have been” and for me that’s what it is all about.

I’m a watercolorist that is greatly influenced by the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. My work is representational, yet distinct for it’s quality of comfort and use of color. I work constantly out of an inner drive to paint.

My monochrome and muted photography captures misty woodlands, meandering paths and reflective waterscapes. I am inspired by Japanese aesthetic ideals like wabi-sabi, which celebrates beauty in every stage and imperfection of nature. As such, I seek to highlight everyday splendor and celebrate the hidden and ephemeral beauty around us.
