Castaways Return: Raw, Refined, Repurposed
My approach to creating, as well as the media in which I work, is non-traditional. I combine painting/ illustration with assemblage to create original works of art. I collect found objects: bones, fragments of machinery, orphaned pieces of anything strange and unusual. I draw inspiration from nature, history, spirituality, folklore from cultures, scientific experiments, tattooing, Gothic literature and aesthetics, and cinema, particularly classic horror and Sci-Fi films. Visit Ozark Beer Company during Art on the Bricks to see the collaborative exhibition, Castaways Return: Raw, Refined, Repurposed, the artwork of Angela Teeter, Amy Terry and Aaron Jones.

Savory + Sweet
I create bold, figurative art that celebrates both the sweet and savory moments of life. Through vibrant color, playful imagery, and heartfelt detail, my work captures the richness of everyday joy. Food, in particular, is one of my favorite ways to share the deliciousness of life. This collection marks my joyful introduction to the art world—a midlife leap into the creative career my heart has always craved.
