I’m an enthusiastic, creative person who wears a lot of hats—including fine artist, illustrator, designer, gallery manager, educator, and an executive of art organizations. I am a realistic artist who has transitioned into multiple styles of painting, exploring abstract ideas and themes. I’m an expressive and intuitive painter in oils, acrylics, watercolors, pencils, and ink. I am inspired by tranquil landscapes and provincial settings. My artwork reflects some realism but I hope to capture the whimsy of days gone by while living in the moment. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and lately I have been using oil pastels. I have also been making clay pendants/charms to paint designs on; either as an accessory or just something pretty to look at. I’m a new mom, and I have been creating in my spare time (my family is also an inspiration but I try to maintain my identity and individuality too).
