    Cotton Candy Figures

    While we don’t know when cotton Candy first appeared in Downtown Rogers, research tells us machine-spun cotton candy was invented in 1897 and was first introduced to a wide audience at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, Mo. Sweet Spins is bringing this art form and bringing Animal and Cartoon Characters made out of Cotton Candy.

I prefer oil paint for its consistency, and that it is forgiving. Painting is a combination of technique and creativity, or working out how to get the desired effect on canvas or paper and being sensitive to your subject.

    Living and working near Downtown Historic Rogers has given artist Elizabeth Pier the unique opportunity to connect with long time residents and newly arrived residents and visitors.
