Downtown Rogers
What is more fitting for an art walk with a newcomers theme than Sarah Bunton’s Maps! In creating the Rogers, Arkansas map, Bunton took the city’s complex maze of streets and bike trails, snapped their names to a grid, filled the negative spaces with colorful geometric shapes and highlighted community amenities with buttons. The result is a vibrant, simplified flow of the streets and trails connecting the downtown to Lake Atalanta. The purpose of this and all of her stylized maps is to orient those new to the city, encourage the use of cycling and pedestrian paths, and to further a sense of community identity among residents. We are a married pair who have known each other since third grade. We love connecting with people and provide intuitive tarot card readings, for entertainment and fun. We are available for hire for events such as birthdays, weddings, parties, girls night, family fun, gender reveal parties. We can even create themed tarot readings. Jingjing Yu is best known for her work on whimsical and imaginary kawaii-style ceramics, animation, and illustrations. She was born and raised in Chengdu, China, home to the world’s largest Panda population. She works out of her home pottery studio in addition to the Fifth Street pottery studio in Bentonville, AR.
