    Old Pinnacle Barn

    September 8, 2024 /

This is an old barn that was torn down on Pinicole Road. Stan Cox painted it from the photographs he took of it on Labor Day or 2019. It had been damaged by several storms. This painting is a 11×14 Oil medium on panel. He tried capturing the early morning light as the sun arose.

    Nature of jewelery

    September 6, 2024 /

I have long been captivated by semi-precious natural stones, amassing a collection over the years before recognizing their potential in jewelry craftsmanship. During my travels in Indonesia, I a studied in the ancient art of silver smithing, collaborating with local artisans to master traditional techniques utilizing tools passed down through generations. I use some of these traditional techniques in my work but also add a contemporary approach to create a unique line of jewelry which I like to call “wearable art.”

    Life and living

    September 6, 2024 /

I paint a lot of figures and portraits. Why? Not to be too platitudinous the goal beyond just the desire to observe people I hope to capture the soul of that person or at least express something intangible. Regardless of the subject matter; , Human, animal, plant or steel life, or abstract I hope that it will evoke a temporary psychological effect.
