Nina the Cute Kitty Girl
This is Nina from the once-popular 90s anime Words Worth, which was based on a visual novel. She’s a feline who has a heart of gold and always watches out for one another, even when they are in danger. The original drawing is lost, though the digital version is preserved. It’s one of my personal favorites, as I loved Anime so much during High School, and I still do to this day.

A Family Affair
My 13 year-old son and I have been dabbling in different forms of visual artistry for about five years. Our exhibit includes photographs, acrylic paintings, and pencil sketches. Some are his. Some are mine. Some are collabs. Themes include women’s empowerment and anime. There is also a wall of handwritten letters from my snail mail pals who hail from around the world.

American Nostalgia
Through vivid, storytelling photography, I capture the spirit of American nostalgia — the neon nights, empty streets, and weathered icons that remind us who we are and where we’ve been.

Hay on the Way to Prairie Grove
I am an oil painter who enjoys painting scenes from life — the way dappled light covers a forest floor, rural life in the country, and beautiful places visited that need to be remembered forever.

Whispers in Motion
Artist Statement – Karen Wagaman My work is rooted in exploration—of color, texture, and the endless ways creativity can connect people. Whether working in acrylic, watercolor, digital art, or mixed media, I approach each piece as an opportunity to merge technique with intuition. My background in studio art informs my practice with a respect for craft, while my training in business administration gives me an appreciation for the broader role creativity plays in building creative communities. Art, for me, is not only a personal journey but also a collective one. Living and working in Northwest Arkansas, I am inspired daily by the makers, artists, and entrepreneurs who shape our cultural…

Abandoned on Mill Street
Drawing on both my agrarian upbringing and professional experience as a craftsman builder, I am curious about imagery reflecting our collective search for, and creation of, place in the world. including our natural instinct to expand as well as our boundless optimism and appetite for it. My art speaks to our nature to build and to improve the human condition and sometimes the impermanence of our efforts. Together, this cycle of place-making and deterioration capture our quest for a better life while acknowledging its limitations. For me, painting place is a process of self-discovery as I interpret images or ideas that capture my attention, using tools of water, paper, color,…

No pressure
No pressure. Finding joy in the process of creating with no pressure. Perfectionists nightmare. Creating a piece and not being afraid of the small mistakes but rather seeing the bigger picture.

Castaways Return: Raw, Refined, Repurposed
My approach to creating, as well as the media in which I work, is non-traditional. I combine painting/ illustration with assemblage to create original works of art. I collect found objects: bones, fragments of machinery, orphaned pieces of anything strange and unusual. I draw inspiration from nature, history, spirituality, folklore from cultures, scientific experiments, tattooing, Gothic literature and aesthetics, and cinema, particularly classic horror and Sci-Fi films. Visit Ozark Beer Company during Art on the Bricks to see the collaborative exhibition, Castaways Return: Raw, Refined, Repurposed, the artwork of Angela Teeter, Amy Terry and Aaron Jones.
