    My name is Ashton and I fused my love of art and illustration with woodworking to create Becky Bug Designs. Not only do I love bringing my art to life, but I love crafting sentimental gifts. As an artist, the best feeling is creating something that makes people happy. One of my favorite pieces to make is to take a loved one’s handwritten recipe and engrave it into art or a cheese board for a beautiful and sentimental heirloom piece.     Dreamy Functional Pottery by Jill Slutsky

    Jill Slutsky, a wheel throwing potter with a little over 1.5 years of experience, has goals to craft each piece to perfection, provided the kiln gods work in her favor. Her artistic focus is on creating dreamy and functional pottery using innovative glazing and carving techniques. Currently, she is experimenting with oxides, carbonates and mixed clay to create beautifully marbled pieces. Look for small mugs, stemless wine glasses, candle holders and cooly glazed bowls and marbled pieces in her space this month.
