Stacy lives in Goshen, Arkansas, and is blessed to be a wife and mom to three daughters. She is a self-taught, mixed media artist and instructor, and paints from home in her make-shift garage studio. Her playful style has been greatly influenced by over a decade of teaching art to children. She started teaching art to children in 2007, and now teaches adults, both in person workshops and online.
Stacy loves using bright colors, multiple layers, heavy texture and collage elements in her art. She uses her hands, brushes and a palette knife to build up multiple layers of paint, papers and acrylic medium, resulting in a heavy distressed texture. She loves encouraging other to have fun with their painting process and embrace their own style.
In her spare time, she enjoys calling the Hogs (Razorback sports), biking, reading and spending time cooking and entertaining her family and friends.
