Art Walk – Jan/Feb ’22
Make plans to welcome 2022 and support the creative economy in Downtown Rogers. Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks Art Walk showcases regional artists while enhancing the artistic and cultural opportunities in Rogers, Arkansas. The monthly Art on the Bricks Art Walk is designed to bring people to the cultural and historical center of the city and showcase Northwest Arkansas’s deep and vibrant pool of creative talent.
JANUARY ART WALK-Thursday, January 13th, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. we will showcase the art of dozens of artists who used 2021 as a time to create. Pandemonium is the Theme for the January Art Walk where we will showcase the art of dozens of artists who used 2021 as a time of turmoil, turbulence, disorder and confusion and inspire creation of art and music that brings order and a sense of purpose to their lives.
FEBRUARY ART WALK-Thursday, February 10th, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. we will reflect on the turbulent past and look to a more positive future. The February Art Walk coincides with Black History Month and we invite artists of any race or ethnicity to submit their work. Artist Kinya Christian is curating exhibits at Rogers Experimental House and Into+View Gallery and Studio that are reflective of the African diaspora and the modern-day Black experience in America. Art on the Bricks is collaborating with TheatreSquared with highlights of their upcoming production, The Mountaintop.
Meet the artists in locations throughout Downtown Rogers. Enjoy live music, and support the Downtown Rogers Creative Economy! We encourage you to Mask Up, Practice Social Distancing and get vaccinated as we all look forward to in-person events in our communities. The Art Walk is the 2nd Thursday of every month and we want to continue to support the locally owned businesses as well as artists and musicians who have been impacted by the past 20 months of health care concerns.
Activities begin at 4:30 p.m. throughout Downtown Rogers!
Join us for this free, family friendly activity every month on the 2nd Thursday. Talented artists, craftsmen and musicians partner with downtown businesses to provide an opportunity to explore businesses and meet the artists in pop-up galleries. Businesses and artists changes from month to month, and art experiences consistently provide new and interesting opportunities for the public to connect with the creatives who work hard to add to the beauty and quality of life in NWA.
