“Milo”, is one of the first portraits I did in 2021. My philosophy of art is that any art that I enjoy making and others enjoy looking at is good art. I enjoy learning new techniques and gaining new insights into methods and materials related to art. I want to create art that makes my heart sing.

Stevie Stevens Modern Mosaics Stevie Stevens is a NW Arkansas artist who concentrates in mixed media mosaics. Stevie is a member of SAMA (Society of American Mosaic Artists) and has studied with a number of contemporary artists from several countries. Stevie was previously a landscape designer in Dallas, Texas and brings her love of nature into her current work. She spent the following years studying and practicing mosaic art, energy medicine, the world’s spiritual traditions, the evolution of consciousness, and personal empowerment. As a photographer I enjoy the look and feel of old paintings by Caravaggio, Rembrandt and their likes. During my upbringing in Germany I immersed myself in their art, visiting Museums and art galleries. Some of my current work is a reflection of this period. Creating these images I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of live.
