Dreamy Functional Pottery by Jill Slutsky

Jill Slutsky, a wheel throwing potter with a little over 1.5 years of experience, has goals to craft each piece to perfection, provided the kiln gods work in her favor. Her artistic focus is on creating dreamy and functional pottery using innovative glazing and carving techniques. Currently, she is experimenting with oxides, carbonates and mixed clay to create beautifully marbled pieces. Look for small mugs, stemless wine glasses, candle holders and cooly glazed bowls and marbled pieces in her space this month.

    Perspective Agape

I make miniature scenes, dioramas, etc. as well as collaging, painting, sculpting and more! I work primarily with minis and each one contains several details or furniture pieces that are SUPPOSED to be handled, inspected, played with, and touched. I make them sturdy and specifically to be handled.
