Beauty is Fleeting- Audrey Hepburn

This piece is about the brevity of life and the fleeting nature of physical beauty. I chose to paint the social icon of both beauty and fashion, Audrey Hepburn, on a surface of cracked plaster which shows fragility and imperfection.
Note- The first two pieces, Audrey and Marilyn would work for January’s theme of Pandemonium.
The following two pieces ( Jeremiah and Joelle) would work for February’s theme of The Black Experience. The portrait of Jeremiah was sold to Jeremiah Pickett, a black musician here in NWA and is of course NFS.
