Context Patterns
The studio Pattern Etch grew out of the necessity to create and explore the world around me. The medium usually varies from charcoal to acrylic to watercolors, with the sole purpose of giving each pattern the exploration it deserves. The paintings come from an ongoing study of the built environment and nature. Patterns that exist around us have always been my source of inspiration. Stevie Stevens is a Northwest Arkansas based artist who concentrates in mixed media mosaics. Stevie has been piecing together her mosaic art since 2007. Previously a landscape designer in Dallas, Texas, Stevie has transitioned from her love of creating with plants and hard materials such as flagstone, pavers, concrete, etc. to creating with concrete, glass, minerals, mirror, crystals, and rocks. Stevie loves to educate people about modern mosaics. Adrian Reister is a self-taught digital artist and will be the featured artist for Arkansas Public Theatre at the Victory Theatre for the July Art Walk. Adrian Reister has created digital art for all of this season’s productions at Arkansas Public Theatre, and the Zephyr Blevins Gallery is showcasing his work as its last exhibit before closing for remodeling.
