Life and living

I paint a lot of figures and portraits. Why? Not to be too platitudinous the goal beyond just the desire to observe people I hope to capture the soul of that person or at least express something intangible. Regardless of the subject matter; , Human, animal, plant or steel life, or abstract I hope that it will evoke a temporary psychological effect.
