    “Repurposed Tears”

“My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” Mark 14:34 “Abba, Father,” [Jesus] cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” Mark 14:36 Jesus wept real tears, was in anguish, and even fell to the ground praying. While we aren’t asked to die on a cross for the sins of the world, we experience grief and suffering. Sometimes our struggling and pain is so unbearable, we do fall to the ground and beg God to remove it. But Jesus “repurposed” His pain…

Rachel Grace Borntrager works with ink, alcohol ink, watercolor, and oils. Lily Pads

I grew up in St Louis, Missouri. During my elementary schooling we would go on field trips to Forest Park Zoo, Art Museum, and the Jewel Box. I remember going to all of these great places. My favorite was the Jewel Box. It’s still there. It is a Botanical Garden. They have flowers from all over the world. The abundance of color was overwhelming. I took a trip to the Jewel Box to photograph as many flowers as possible. Here’s my painting of the”Lily Pads” 20×10 panel board, oil medium.

    Baby/Kids Smocked Outfit

Hello I’m Tram. I make smocked dress and outfit for little kids. I love smocking and I think maybe I can turn it into a small business. I’ve just started a few months ago and got very good feedbacks from my Etsy customers. I’m trying to find a place to introduce my products to my potential local customers. I’m not sure my products fit with this event but I’m excited to be a part. Photos are some of my work.

    Another treasure

One man’s trash, is another man’s treasure. This is a classic statement that reigns true. As an artist that may not always have extra money to buy new supplies, I do what most do and asked my community. I am blessed to have many artist friends that have given me canvases, paint, yarn etc. My latest work has been using free or low cost supplies and making it art that makes your soul happy. Mainly paintings with paper scrap cutouts, small crochet animals with yarn scraps, and paintings with retro postage stamps.
