    Celebrating Abilities/ Autism Awareness Month

    March 27, 2023 /

Life Styles is a non-profit organization that enthusiastically supports individuals with intellectual disabilities in reaching their full potential as contributing members of their community. The artists of Life Styles are able to explore their creative abilities. Art has paved the way for our students to communicate and express their thoughts and feelings. Celebrating Abilities consists of landscapes and portraiture taught by Roz Waiwaiole and Joelle Storet.

Fallen Angel and Angel of Delusion, both on recycled maps

    March 25, 2023 /

Both were painted on top of recycled California Maos that were donated to my school for art students. Fallen Angel is a depiction of the world I see around me while Angel of Delusion is a depiction of what I see in myself, both comfort and desperation.

    Repurposed

    March 23, 2023 /

Liz Cox works in acrylic, mixed media, collage, and hand-made paper. She studied graphic design at the University of Arkansas and earned her Bachelor of Arts…
