NWA Through the Lens
My love of art started with my 9th grade Introduction to Photography class. I learned I could paint with light. My current collection showcases vibrant colors, unique patterns and is presented on a glossy aluminum canvas. My vision is to create a unique style blending photography with an apparent stroke of a painter’s brush. This distinctive look is assisted through the use of computer software. The image is then infused with ink into the surface of an aluminum sheet, using a combination of heat and pressure. The resulting piece of art is modern and one of a kind; uniquely mine. Y20-20th Season National Tour
Perpetual Motion Dance is making Downtown Rogers a stop on their national tour. Y20, an original concert that quite literally elevates dance and movement in Northwest Arkansas. The performances include post-modern and aerial dance with a signature grace and technical ingenuity to create dance on all planes. Perpetual Motion Dance is in their 20th season of creating annual, original concerts in addition to regional and national touring with a stop in Northwest Arkansas. Their Rogers performances will feature current and alumnae company members performing dramatic, gravity-defying dance creations that incorporate aerial silks, trapeze, and a new invented metal apparatus.

Stacy lives in Goshen, Arkansas, and is blessed to be a wife and mom to three daughters. She is a self-taught, mixed media artist and instructor, and paints from home in her make-shift garage studio. Her playful style has been greatly influenced by over a decade of teaching art to children. She started teaching art to children in 2007, and now teaches adults, both in person workshops and online. Stacy loves using bright colors, multiple layers, heavy texture and collage elements in her art. She uses her hands, brushes and a palette knife to build up multiple layers of paint, papers and acrylic medium, resulting in a heavy distressed texture.…

Time of Realism
My work is mostly realism. The first two works were drawn on my ipad and the 2nd two pieces were drawn with a regular mechanical pencil. Each took about 2 1/2 hours to do.
