    Leather Artist

    As a Veteran and Master Leathercrafter with the (International Federation of Leather Guilds) IFOLG, Bob Keeney has entered his leather projects in many competitions. He creates decorative leather birdhouses and fairy houses for indoor display. Hehas also made many requested custom-designed purses, clutch purses, wallets, belts, wine boxes, and many assorted other small leather items. His work will be on display at the Rogers Experimental House during the Veteran’s Day Art Walk on November 11.

    Local handmade functional pottery. Oddbowlz Ceramics is a small pottery studio specializing in handmade, wheel-thrown, functional pottery.  Located in the Ozarks of Arkansas, Oddbowlz celebrates the beauty of the individual, be it a person, an old car or a piece of pottery.  To find that beauty, you can’t be afraid to experiment and change.  You must be willing to explore and journey down the road less traveled.

    My outlet

    Army Veteran and artist, Carrie Crawford, uses painting and photography along with other mixed media to craft beautiful works of art. “Creating is an outlet/release for me,” explained Crawford. “I have lots of acrylic pours and I make flags from wood also. This big piece is called “The ‘New’ America.” It is made up of disregarded masks and gloves.” Meet the artist during the November 11th Art on the Bricks Art Walk. Her work is on display at the Rogers Experimental House, 121 W Walnut, Rogers, AR.

    Wrapped in a Rainbow

    Fiber Artist Lynda Warren of Fayetteville is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. She comes from a long family tradition of military service and has ancestors who served in the Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korean War are more. Her father is a retired Lt. Colonel from the Army. Lynda describes herself as a “Military Brat” and due to her father’s service she lived in many places growing up. She enlisted in the Navy when she turned 18 years old and her father swore her in (see photo.)     Battle of Pea Ridge

    “ABOUT THE ARTIST” Daniel Hoffbauer is currently a resident of Bella Vista Arkansas—having moved to NW Arkansas in 2018 from Southern California. Dan has been a Civil War enthusiast and student of history all his life, but for 35 years had artist’s block until his visit to the Pea Ridge battlefield on March 8, 2020, inspired him to start painting anew after the COVID crisis hit the following week. His four paintings being exhibited are scenes from the Battle of Pea Ridge and include the First Iowa Battery in action north of Elkhorn Tavern, “Charge” which shows the Confederate cavalry charge at Foster’s Farm in the opening action of the…
