    Blue Eyes

    April 7, 2025 /

I was searching for my next display project. This lady’s blue eyes grabbed my attention. The next painting is of my granddaughter. She was about nine years old. Both paintings are oil medium on canvas and panel.

    The Heart Castle

    April 1, 2025 /

I was physically abused by my father when I went to visit him for the first time when I was 12 years old. This is a representation of locking my heart away. I felt unworthy of being loved after he tried to kill me several times over the course of 6 months. I chose Gelatissmo because they help children who have experienced the same trauma. I have a story that I wrote that goes along with the art piece written in fairytale form. There is healing through love.

    Birds of a Feather

    March 24, 2025 /

I’m Jamie Shipcoff Brown, a watercolor and multi-media artist with a passion for capturing the beauty and symbolism of the natural world in my work. Painting has been my creative outlet for as long as I can remember, a space where I find joy and peace. Growing up in Northwest Arkansas, I loved taking art classes as a kid, first in Rogers schools, and later the University of Arkansas. After college I moved to Upstate New York to attend graduate school and later start a family. Though I set art aside during the busy years of raising my family, a profound personal loss in 2017 brought me back to my…

    Permanent jewelry

    March 24, 2025 /

Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit bracelet, necklace, or anklet that is welded together instead of using a traditional clasp. It’s designed to be worn continuously without removal, symbolizing special moments, relationships, or personal style. Made from high-quality materials like 14k gold filled or sterling silver, permanent jewelry is lightweight and durable.

Attelling | Old Gus’s Place | Oregon Farm

    March 13, 2025 /

“Attelling” is a fun piece with a late winter theme – blue maybe giving way to yellow? You tell me. 🙂 This is a mixed media abstract – oil pastel over acrylic over watercolor! Framed Size (h w): 20.75 x 28.25 in. $995 “Old Gus’s Place” is a watercolor, inspired by an old cabin in the Oklahoma backwoods. Old Gus lived there alone much of his life and would venture in to town on his horse one a month for provisions. Feels kinda empty now. Framed Size (h w): 26.25 x 36.25 in. $1495 “Oregon Farm” is part of a series I have done interpreting this western farm I observed…

    Dreaming of Moonbeams

    March 10, 2025 /

My work is rooted in the belief that nature has the power to ground us, inspire us, and reveal deeper truths about our existence. For me, nature is more than a subject – it’s a source of inspiration, connection, and peace. In a world clouded by societal norms, complexities, stigmas, and expectations, my goal is to create work that serves as a refuge, where the beauty can simply shine through. These works explore the interplay between the cosmic and terrestrial, reflecting my fascination with the mystery of the night sky. They demonstrate the vastness of what lies both above us and within our reach.
