Live Music by Route 358
Route 358’s Americana music blends influences from Country, Pop, Bluegrass and Folk into a unique form of Acoustic Music. Their live sets feature the bands banjo, mandolin and acoustic guitar driven originals with creative arrangements of covers in multiple genres. They are performing during the August 12 Art on the Bricks Art Walk from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Rogers Experimental House, 121 W Walnut Street. City Streets – New York
On a recent trip to NYC I was captivated by the sky scale created by the towering buildings. As I walked I looked straight up and noticed the unique negative space. That is what I captured in my own way in this painting.

Buttons, and Poppy
I’ve always enjoyed doing animal portraits. “Poppy” was my mother’s pet dog that she loved dearly. “Buttons”, the cat, always welcomed me to one of my student’s home. He was commissioned by the student for her son.

Thoughtful, vibrant, hints of texture: the art and the artist. TJ Lyn is currently playing, in her small mountaintop studio, with light and movement and active tense. NWArt Refuge.com is under construction with a virtual art gallery and marketplace planned to showcase Northwest Arkansas artists and 2D surface designers alongside their local creations. Until then, @NWArtRefuge on FB serves as another collaborative marketing tool for our region. Open to the Trade and to the Public.
