    July 3, 2021 /

The “Dynamics of Dominance and Value” in the abstract art I create are but two of the design elements and principles that have become the central theme in the work I produce, exhibit and teach. Dominance is exhibited in many ways: color, shape, texture, and line are all forms of dominance utilized in my work. Colors can be either warm or cool and are present in all of my work. Shape Dominance is usually present as well where either curvilinear or geometric shapes become the key shapes within the piece. These are the two key forms of dominance that I try to produce when working on a watercolor abstract or…

    Terry Dushan’s Illusive Dimensions

    July 3, 2021 /

As a child both my parents inspired in me a deep appreciation for color and composition. My father was an avid black and white photographer and my mother an extremely gifted oil painter. Both my father and husband were career military officers. We moved frequently to locations in the United States and abroad. Travel offered sights I first yearned, then learned, to capture with my camera. I have been a fine art photographer for 35 years. Six years ago I transitioned to creating digital abstracts from original photographs. I have been in shows and competitions in both Europe and the U.S.. In the past 10 years my works have been…

    Juli Odum’s Only You! Jewelry

    July 2, 2021 /

One of a kind, locally made by hand using found objects, semi-precious stones, organics (coral, amber, wood, prehistoric bones etc.), glass, sterling silver, brass, copper. Adornment is an extension of who we are; so all my jewelry pieces are not for everyone. Some are simple, others are busy; some are light, others are heavier.
