“At Twilight”
My need for exploration and discovery is expressed through my multi media process. I use a combination of collage, ink, acrylic, and oil paints, among other spontaneous materials to create pieces of rich colors with layers of depth and textures, and a collection of treasures hidden in every painting.

Deana Markus’s American Farmland
The American Farmland series is a group of acrylic landscape paintings in what I call the Modern Tonalism style. The paintings in this series follow the landscape settings of the historic Tonalism movement. I’ve added a few more colors to create a more modern twist. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I also paint barns and farmland in an abstract minimalistic style, as well as many interesting and colorful abstracts.
